Promag H 300 in DN2 Joins Our Stock for Micro-Dosing and Filling Duties

October 2026 — We have taken the smallest bore of the Endress+Hauser Proline Promag H 300 family into stock. The DN2 (1/12 inch) unit, order code 5H3B02-AAIBAEAFBAFDCS0BA2, is configured at the factory and packed in original Endress+Hauser cartons, ready for projects that meter a few litres per hour rather than a few cubic metres.

Small hygienic lines fail quietly. An oversized meter still reads, but the resolution at the bottom of its span is too coarse for a dosing step, and the operator starts trimming batches by hand. Keeping a DN2 sensor on the shelf lets a skid builder size the instrument to the line instead of throttling a larger one.

Where the DN2 bore earns its place

• Dosing lines with roughly 3 to 8 mm internal diameter, where the flow band sits close to the sensor minimum
• Aroma, flavour and vitamin injection into dairy or beverage streams, metered per shot rather than per shift
• Media, buffer and API addition on pilot and small-scale bioprocess skids
• Filling machine feed lines where each container must be measured, not timed

The measuring tube is full bore behind a PFA liner, so there is no constriction to trap product between batches, and the sensor drains cleanly at the end of a CIP cycle. The transmitter is the same platform used on the larger sizes, which keeps spares, parameter sets and operator training common across a plant.

Selection facts worth checking first

Two engineering points decide whether a DN2 installs cleanly: medium conductivity should reach at least 5 microsiemens per centimetre, and about 20 microsiemens per centimetre for demineralised water; and the tube should stay full at zero flow, with roughly 5 DN of straight run upstream and 3 DN downstream. On plastic or lined pipe, grounding rings are needed and can be supplied with the same order.

Availability and support

The unit is offered at a minimum order quantity of one piece with payment by T/T or L/C and a 12-month warranty. Stock normally ships within three to five working days.
